Bil Taylor Associates’ design intent for the homeowners was to mitigate run-off, establish self-shading effect of the plants, highlight visibility from the road, and create aesthetics from within the house. Blue Mesa Studios used native desert plants - grasses and flowering groundcovers - to create the illusion of roof flowing into the terrain. The Riverfront Residence is the recipient of numerous awards.
