I'm sorry but the title of this one is wrong. This is NOT El Capitan at Yosemite National Park. This is The Devil's Tower National Monument near Sundance, Wyoming. The same on used in Sephen Spielberg's 1977 movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" starring Richard Dreyfuss, Francois Truffaut, Melinda Dillon, Teri Garr, Bob Balaban and Cary Guffey.
