Picture taken by me. Lady Slippers are in the Orchid family. They can take up to 10 / 20 years before they bloom. The Pink and White Lady Slipper is the Minnesota State flower. They are the only flower in the Orchid family that will survive in our cold climates up north.

This is a nice picture with the hint of sunshine in the top left corner. I have to say though, I have never seen such a plant. You Northerners have some interesting horticulture. ;)
