Photo taken in West Georgia in late January. This old pine is dead now, but I would have like to seen it when it was alive. This tree is probably a couple hundred years old.

Thanks for the reply. I think it is a rather interesting tree. I am fairly certain that it is a southern yellow pine or a scots pine. The bark is falling off and it is hard to tell. I think lightning must have struck it. I would have loved to see it when it was healthy.
