for life in sunrise today has done it's best,
a picture perfect beauty drawn by the hand of our Lord,
for his seasons and times are always in accord

A time to work, rest and love,
are gifts truly from Jehovah above,
as the sunrise and sunset remind us of him,
in natures sunset this system of our life is getting dim

For morning's sunrise brings our King to Kingdom's rule,
and then done away with death so very cruel,
Paradise blessings as Jehovah's love will bloom,
no more pain, gloom and doom

How I wonder in this mind of mine!
will the beauty of the sun and moon,
be even more in magnificent glory shine,
I long in the sunset of my life to be truly free,
from the curses of this life passed from Adam and Eve to me

I look unto the sunset and know my promise is on its way,
when the sin of this life of darkness turns to a brighter sinless day,
in my heart a song plays of a glad contract plan,
between Glorious Jehovah and weak fallen man

Ending in the sunset system today to a Kingdom ruled by Christ Jesus,
will be eternity's bright new day
May you see the Glory of our Lord in every sunset you will see
