There is a special story behind this photo. If you haven’t read it already, it is in the companion wallpaper that I uploaded with this one. Here is the link:
The main story behind this wallpaper is about the caterpillar, but just like in the other wallpaper, the clear winged golden bodied insect can be seen, so I will point it out first. It’s in the center of the wallpaper, towards the bottom. It still sits on a green leaf, but it’s a little higher up this time. It’s very close to and facing some of the golden flowers.
The black, yellow, and white striped Monarch caterpillar is just a little trickier to spot this time, because only part of it is showing.
The caterpillar is still preparing to pupate (make a cocoon, which is actually called a chrysalis.) It is hanging upside down on the upper right side of the photo. It’s sticking out of the bottom of what appears to be a tight cluster of grapes, (but is actually a cluster of unopened flower buds.) You can even see it’s thin black antennae.
As with the other wallpaper, you may wish to enlarge it so that you can see the clear winged fly and the caterpillar more easily.

PS. Here is a link to a wallpaper, that was uploaded by designer Monarch/Cherie. It has a good image of a Monarch caterpillar, so that you will know exactly what you are looking for.

The beauty of Mother nature is everywhere and if we take the time to look closely at the world around us we find many wonders. Thank you for the link to my wallpaper. It is not of my design but one I uploaded.. I am not a designer of walls as many talented members on Nexus are just a carrier of the work of others to the Nexus site.. +1
