My husband took this photograph when he went to the zoo with my daughter. I'm glad that I got him to take my camera with him!
When I call this bee battle scarred, I am referring to her wings. I wonder how they got torn up? Was she attacked by a hungry bird? Did she get caught in some sort of a tight space, or maybe jumped at by a cat? I guess I'll never know.
