A view of an arch formed in the Perito Moreno Glacier at Los Glaciares National Park in the Argentine province of Santa Cruz on March 11, 2018. The arch formed at the tip of the glacier along the shore of Argentino Lake, and started collapsing into the water on Saturday. A natural display that happens just once every several years, such arches take shape when the glacier forms a dam of ice that cuts off the flow of water around it into the lake. When the water eventually breaks through, it opens up a steadily wider tunnel that becomes a narrow arch, which soon collapses.
