"Nothing Gold Can Stay" is a memorable and well known poem written by poet Robert Frost back in 1923. It came to my mind when I was looking at photographs I had taken in November of early snow in Autumn. I like to think that Robert Frost would have appreciated this photograph. For anyone who understands and appreciates nature, it's a great illustration of golden leaves that are not going to be on the tree for much longer. (Yes, all of the leaves on that tree are down now.)

PS. Here's a link to one other wallpaper that I uploaded of golden leaves and snow that I uploaded on the 11th. (Where has all of the time gone this month?) https://nature.desktopnexus.com/wallpaper/2439370/
***Nothing Gold Can Stay***
Nature’s first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay.
by Robert Frost; written in 1923
