On Friday, April 17th, when I awoke to see snow coming down, I grabbed my camera and started searching for icy flowers to photograph. These tulips were among the first flowers that I found. If any of the flowers I shot with my camera reminded me of a still life painting, these are the ones.

PS. It's now Sunday, April 19th. The snow has melted, and most, if not all of the flowers in my neighborhood are looking a lot happier. Here are links to 3 other photos I took last Friday, of snow covered daffodils, tulips, etc.

Great title. I think these flowers are used to snow as they tend to bloom just @ the end of winter. I bet if you had an 85ºF day they wouldn't have liked that @ all.
