To some degree, this photo is self explanatory. I found a lot of humor in the STOP Sign contrasted with the falling snow! But this photo has it's flowers also; there are yellow daffodils at the foot of the Stop Sign, and there's a flowering tree with pink blossoms beside the tall evergreen tree. Yes, there's nothing like a nice "normal" April 17th Spring day...

PS. It's now Sunday, April 19th. The snow has melted, and most, if not all of the flowers in my neighborhood are looking a lot happier. Here are links to 3 other photos I took last Friday, of snow covered daffodils, tulips, etc. Â

This is my favorite kind of snow, I call it 'conversational' snow. It's peaceful to watch, yet no shoveling, poor driving or losing the power because of it. Yes, this year we seem to have an extended mild winter rather than spring, except of course ... with pollen.
