Wallpaper Description:

I've been spending a lot of time on the pathways of nature center near my house. I photograph a wide variety of subjects. Every time the sun is out and I'm near leaves of any kind, I watch for insects. Many of them enjoy sunning themselves on leaves, and I get pictures of them.

Usually I take the photo from above the leaf. I took this one from underneath the leaf, so the veins of the leaf show clearly and the fly shows through the leaf in silhouette.

I'm uploading this photo especially for the Silhouette & Shadows Group. Carla, this one is for you!

LOVE IT! Wow, my first special image, that is so kind & sweet of you. Now a fly reminding you of me ... not sure about that part, but taking the photo of underneath the leaves, that is so me - to see the world from a different unique perspective, I feel so honored. THANK YOU! And, you're right it perfectly suits the Silhouette & Shadows group, I think this is our first fly silhouette.
