The fly mushroom (Amanita muscaria) is a poisonous fungus from the genus of Wulstlinge (Amanita), including the particularly toxic Amanita phalloides Green (Amanita phalloides) belongs. The fly agaric is less toxic, but not harmless. The red Fliegenpilz occurs in Central Europe from June until winter, with a main appearance time from July to October.
