Easton Ansel Adams (* February 20, 1902 in San Francisco, California; † April 22, 1984 in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California) was an American photographer, writer and teacher of artistic photography. He gained notoriety because of its impressive landscape and nature photographs from the National Parks, National Monuments and Wilderness Areas in the western United States, for whose preservation he kicked active life.
