As a kid (many moons ago) I used to sneak out of the house and journey to the mountain. It was so peaceful, then as an adult I actually worked at the base of the mountain for several years in the timber industry. What more could a guy ask for, I got paid to hang out on the mountain, not the top, but in the tree line. A step closer to the heavens above. My parents are buried there, eternal life within the majestic sights of the mountain.
