Beautiful views from the river upward. What this picture/wallpaper hides is the actual color of the river(s) water: brown or rust colored, just like the canyon walls. The water is suprisingly cold, unlike the warmth you'd expect during the summer months where temps can rise over 100 degrees F. The water mostly consists from rain-run-offs and melting snow in the upper elevations near the mouth of the vast river. As the river flows into AZ, it slows to a mere creek, to where it disappears completely. It flows underground before dumping into the Baja Gulf, in Mexico. :)
