Andalusia (Spanish Andalucía) is from the 17 autonomous communities of Spain's southernmost, which is located on the mainland. Andalusia is bordered to the north of Castilla-La Mancha and Extremadura in the south and the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean. In the east it borders with Murcia and on the west by Portugal. The capital of Andalusia is Seville.

The most significant natural areas are the southern Andalusia Abdachung of the Sierra Morena, the Guadalquivir basin and the Cordillera betical, which includes the Sierra Nevada. The Campo de Gibraltar, the rock of Gibraltar is the southernmost part of the European mainland. In Tarifa, the southernmost city, Europe and Africa is only 14 km apart, separated by the Strait of Gibraltar.
