Panther Creek Falls is by far one of the most unique waterfalls in the entire country. The falls consist of two tiers of segmented waterfalls. The creek begins by rushing towards a cliff, a small portion splitting off and plunging straight over, but the majority of the flow makes a hard right, sluices down a natural trough parallel to the edge of the cliff, then dumps 69 feet into the canyon sideways. Immediately next to that, springs feed a 102 foot tall horsetail that veils into the gorge in tandem. All the waters collect then plunge over a final 30 foot fall which unfortunately can't be seen without scrambling off trail to the base of the falls.
