Twin Lakes is a gorgeous haven. To the south of the lakes a spring provides fresh water to filter. Nestled between the lakes amongst the spruce trees and underbrush are soft, flat pieces of ground suitable for tents.

Despite the evidence of several fire rings, we don’t see a soul after branching off toward the lakes from the Wall Lake Trail. But we find plenty of evidence of other creatures
