You know...I really like this one for a specific reason: It reminds me of when I was an over the road trucker and I took what I considered to be a shortcut from Winston Salem North Carolina, to Johnson City Tennessee. It was about 90 miles as the crow flies, rather than the 150 miles or so I would have taken had I used the available interstates. That 90 miles was the most treacherous, hazardous, and stupid route I could have possibly taken. I should have never been there with a big truck and trailer. It went up, over, and through many mountain ridges, edges, and valleys...through the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina. It was supremely picturesque, but horrifically stupid and dangerous. I made it...8 hours later (and only 90 miles), but only by the hand of God. Just goes to show what happens when you drive so many hours and miles each day for days, weeks, and months on end. It catches up with you. Thankfully...it didn't that time, but no thanks to me!
Beautiful Scenery though, just like the Blue Ridge Mountains! Thanks!
