This is the first of 4 "neighborhood" wallpapers that I'm uploading. (My neighborhood, that is.)
If any of the 9 Autumn wallpapers I'm uploading today shows how odd Michigan's Fall season has been this year, this is the one.
There are lovely red & yellow leaves on this silver maple tree. Yet the tree in back of it is covered in fresh green leaves. And I only took this photograph on November 8th! week ago! Normally I would be getting a picture like this in late September or early October.
Even the silver maple seems confused. It looks like it's flinging it's limbs out in a giant shrug. I can almost hear it saying,
"Is it Fall Yet? You're asking ME? How would I know? Just look at the green tree behind me!"
