This is a photo of a female turtle. She has just laid some eggs and buried them in the sand. After she is done she will return to the ocean. This practice is normally done at night. I guess the timing wasn’t right for her. :) The photo was taken on a beach in Cancun, Mexico. You can actually see the sunrise in the background..
