The Cook+Fox Architects’ 8th story penthouse office was awarded Platinum certification under LEED for Commercial Interiors (CI), and the modular greenroof uses 800+ Green Paks with eight types of sedums and talinum. Funding for the green roof was made possible by NYSERDA’s Energy $mart Loan Fund, and the Gaia Institute is monitoring water retention, sedum growth rates, and various soil aggregate compositions.
